Backbends are heart openers, and allow us to open to the full movement of breath and energy in the front of the body. They build strength and power in the legs, arms and back muscles.
They often stimulate a passionate response!
In this 2 hour workshop we will:
- Explore the 3 different types of backbends
- Look at the emotional connection between backbends and the chakras
- Play with your edge - experiment with some deeper backbends
- Finish with some restorative yoga and a guided deep relaxation
All levels welcome, including beginners.
